We would like to welcome our new LRUE Principal, Dr. Laura Batson!! Dr.Batson comes to Logan-Rogersville from Springfield Public Schools. At SPS she served as an Assistant Principal for three years at K-8 Hickory Hills, before becoming the Principal at Pittman Elementary where she has served for the past 10 years. She has 18 total years of experience and taught grades 1-5 at Springfield Public Schools prior to becoming a principal.

She is the mom to 2 boys, Andrew (9) and Ethan (7). In her spare time she enjoys being outside, especially in the garden. She also enjoys cooking, baking and watching shows about cooking and baking. She is SO excited to become part of the LR community, and we are equally excited to welcome her to the LR family! #WeAreLR
